Tina earned her Master’s Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia where she gained experience in a variety of settings. She has worked with the post-operative population after total joint replacements to working alongside plastic surgeons in the hand therapy clinic at Richmond Hospital. Prior to completing her degree in Physical Therapy, Tina completed a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology with a minor in Nutritional Science at the University of British Columbia. Following her undergraduate, she gained experience working with individuals post motor vehicle accident as a kinesiologist completing active rehabilitation. Ever the life-long learner, Tina has completed courses in manual therapy. In addition, she is a member of the Orthopaedic Division and Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. When not working, currently Tina enjoys staying active by going to the gym, hiking, camping, and taking spin classes. Throughout her career, Tina has utilized the skills she learned while dancing and teaching music at a young age to assist in teaching others body awareness to facilitate returning to activity.
